Its Not Me Its You, London

It's been a whole thirty days since I last wrote. Not bueno. But, yes, there was so much going on in February, such as all those made-up award shows like the BRITs and the Oscars where a very closed group of people, so bent by their industries they still actually think they are free to choose, make the rest of us believe they should really win awards and broadcast it across the globe. I was lucky enough to be too busy to witness the cringe-worthy hosting skills of Corden. I had a jig-saw to finish that night. But really, we were very busy. Myself and Kitty went to Paris Fashion Week to have a snoop. But you know how we feel about FW, or "Fashion Semestral 5-weeks" as I like to call it. My last two posts were quite "manufacturing-in-Britainy" (obviously worth reading if you are interested in that sort of stuff) so now I just want to give you an all-round update. Nice and easy.

Today was the first time ever we had more than cinquecento (500) unique visitors to our site in one day. The inner-geek in me prefers these milestones to an actual birthday. I know someone like Zuckerberg would take a pee on such feeble stats but, you know what, it's not bad. A year ago we didn't even have a website. Yeah ok, Facebook was probably getting that after day three....a minute. But, we want to say thank you, unique visitors....yeah, your hear that, unique each and every one of you.

We have been blogged about and vlogged about more and more frequently. This, too, gets me all excited as I press F5 on our web-traffic stats and see the very different sources of our visits (there are now 22 people from 7 different countries browsing our site as I write - I love stats!). Yeah, it makes me believe that we are on the right track in making an INMIY piece that appeals to everyone (obviously, one man's meat is another man's poison and we have also gotten some frowny faces for some of our slogan choices, ah well).

Anyways, I just wanted to say that, like the Spring, new stuff is on its way. And, like the Spring, we cannot wait! Also, we have now realigned all our Topshop prices with our website prices, so if you cannot get to Oxford Street do not worry, we will ship it to you for free (in the UK). Yay! And you save the price on your oyster! Oyster? Oyster Schmoyster

I leave you with a dream I had last night.

Be the first to know about new stuff going up here. We promise to only send nice, useful things that we feel you need to know about.

Its Not Me Its You is a brand of leather stuff to carry other stuff, made and printed by hand in East London. Each piece comes with a slogan. Set up in late 2012 we pride ourselves on the quality of the leather, the craftsmanship and the foil-embossed slogans. Your bag is a statement, we believe, and with a 'Its Not Me Its You' bag you will be making that very clear for all to see. You can find us here and in Topshop (London).
